That's hysterical.

When I was much younger during one of my extended vegetarian phases, I worked for a while at a emporium that sold leather products.

People would ask me if I didn't think such employment was hypocritical given my dietary preferences. I used to joke, "not at all because all of these goods were made from animals that died of entirely natural causes."

Some actually believed me for a moment or two. Some would just look perplexed.

It was fairly funny.
