This is beneath contempt. Here we have a couple talking about their adult daughter to the press and the most damning thing the mother can say to back up her "concern" is that Kerry MAY HAVE BEEN attracted to their daughter? It sounds to me like these parents don't like Kerry for who knows what reason and they did not like the fact that the daughter apparently considered working for his campaign. That is pure speculation on my part but I have just as much evidence for my speculation as you have for yours. Which is basically none - just a hunch.

BTW where there is smoke - there is sometimes fire. Stinkbombs make smoke also. This looks more like a stinkbomb than a fire.
