5. We've always had Congresspeople who have profited from their
positions. What's different today is that the entire national organization of the GOP is run like an organized crime syndicate. They have no problems suppressing the vote, gaming electronic voting, and generally stealing elections. They have demonstrated their alleigence to corporate interests and are quite busy dismantling our commonwealth. They start illegal wars so they can hand out no-bid contracts to their contributors.

Seriously, I don't think you can expect the national GOP to run reformers and people of integrity, that'd be dangerous for its continued hi-jacking of our government.
