2. Little Ado About Something...
Or "No Ado About Anything" ("no ado about the truth" anyway).

What do we expect when the government is controlled in every way by the President's Party, and the party is controlled by the Vice President? Some surprise that an "independent" commission, headed by a partisan, controlled by partisans and whose function, funding, access and schedule are largely controlled by the Administration (directly or indirectly or covertly), somehow fails to actually find anything. Can you say 'whitewash'? Or 'white house white wash'? Or 'CYA' as performed by professionals...

In 'modern' times, with 'modern' communications, many people never imagined that our Democracy could be so subverted. Few even imagined that anybody would or even could, try. 'Modern' communications it seems, can be used to manipulate the people rather than inform the people if small groups (defined by money) are allowed to control it (by means of money (ie. buying the media corporations)). The joke is on us, just as is the onus of restoring honesty, balance and Democracy to our Republic. The likely first step is to restore such honesty and balance to our communications/media; but should that prove impossible, we'll have to communicate person to person until we've reached a majority.

Thus, when the people realize the extent of the corruption and it's true implications and then demand both a clean-up and restoration of balance and integrity, and are willing to take action to save their freedoms and futures, then we'll see the much needed change. Alas, until then, it's going to be "hit or miss" composed of piecemeal efforts by courageous individuals, with limited degrees of success.

We need everyone to know they are being lied to (by the Republican Congress, Republican President and Administration, Republican/Conservative Individuals and Organizations, most Corporations and that almost the entire Mass Media does nothing but repeat and support those lies). Soundbyte: "If you heard it in the media, it was probably a lie". Which is to say, if it wasn't on Air America or certain programs on PBS, it was almost surely a lie, distortion, exaggeration or only part of the story and not the whole truth. Research everything (via the internet, alternate media, foreign media, liberal/progressive acquaintences, etc. before you accept anything). Today, in America (and elsewhere), being an informed citizen is harder than ever.
