And in California, where Bush was understandably defeated (and where any other outcome would have strained suspension of disbelief to the breaking point), but where the margin of Kerry's victory was shaved to make it look like more of a "mandate" for the boy king.

Between 'Lican secretaries of state jiggering the voting systems, to absentee ballots counted or discarded based on party or location of the voter, to proprietary software produced by Republican diehards, to electronic tabulators that can be hacked remotely by a single individual, a fair counting of votes in the US is a thing of the past.

This issue alone could drive America to the brink of civil war, and must be fixed before there can be any confidence in the legitimacy of any elected official's right to hold his or her post. But since it's clearly 'Lican hands on the secret levers, they're the ones who need watching and purging right now.
