5. My senator in Oregon, Wyden, is UNDECIDED????
I think he should know how West Oregon stands on this. Here is my letter to him:

I read today that you were undecided on how to vote for Samuel Alito for SCOTUS. I think it would be fairly obvious to you how your constituency stands on this issue. You are OBLIGATED as OUR REPRESENTATIVE to FOLLOW OUR WILL which is to protect OUR DEMOCRACY. This is your pledge. A confirmation or No vote on Alito is not our will. Ron you must Filibuster. History remembers your actions.

In addition we are tired of the political games. We need to see leadership from you in opposing the Bush Administration in all manner of unethical and illegal activities. The time has come for you to stand and fight.


By the way I don't understand the filibuster rules well. How many filibusters can we do a year?
