13. If ALL Democrats can't come together...
on this issue, the Party is doomed to fail in '06 & '08. People are saying there will be no filibuster of Alito.... how many Dems do you think want to filibuster him, but knowing they don't have full support of the rest of the Party, they feel raising the issue would be much akin to throwing spears at airplanes.. a valiant, yet futile effort. Without the whole Party's backing, many just don't do some of the things they need to do because they see it as pointless. I'm no quitter and I never give up, but I honestly and truly fear that we are headed towards a Dictatorship if the Democratic Party cannot unite for one cause to save our country!!! It is imperative that we unite for this cause. Don't abandon the Party, let's just get rid of the ones who want to keep us divided.
