A tiny number of Democrats in Iowa and Hew Hampshire (a sliver of the population of the nation), plus some Independents and Republicans and the media have chosen the apparent nominee. That nominee is in the process of writing off the entire region of the country where I live. What say do I have in it? Almost none.
In the general election I can vote (or not) for anyone I want, because my state will go for Bush anyway.
