I watched the half hour of commentary on ABC, and they were clearly underwhelmed. George Steph. seemed like he was trying not to laugh in derision. He caught the contradiction of * first saying there was nothing left but IOUs, then expecting people to trust the gov't. to invest their money safely.

Then I turned to MSNBC, and David Gergen was also saying that *'s performance was unimpressive, or some words to that effect. We'll see what the rest of them say tomorrow.
