28. My mother lives in San Diego...
...which, in case you can't guess, is an extremely conservative area. When I told her of the "Republican Man-Date" scandal a couple of days ago, she was surprised, as she hadn't read a word about it in the local (Republican-dominated) newspaper.

Last night, she told me that said paper actually printed a story about it. Not a big story, of course -- about three column inches. But, still, it's a sign that even conservative papers with a monopoly in their local markets now feel compelled to at least mention Gannongate.
