I kind of overlooked that when reading the original post.

I'm not sure which election you were watching, but Kerry busted ass during the primaries. He wasn't relaxing on the beach, waiting for them to award him his candidacy. He went out there and TOOK it.

Media? Are you kidding? Kerry was all but invisible until the DNC, then the media under-reported him, gave preferential treatment to Scrub, and went WAY out of their way to give any damaging news HUGE air time.

Support? Of course he had support. What choice was there? Ever seen a candidate from either of the 2 major parties without support?

And don't waste your energy telling us what you don't know. You have no idea what he does or does not give a damn about.
