i'm more offended by my mother cringing at my sexuality than just about anything. her fear about it just terribly upsets me.

i think this is just to cover up the day after pro-kerry spin. i think the shrubbie campaign was taken aback by edwards' response to the topic in the VP debate, and they devised this strategy right after it. it just didn't come up in the 2nd presidential debate.

frankly, mr and mrs cheney do a greater disservice to their daughter by being publicly indignant. they should publicly praise her, and show their "base" that there's nothing wrong with being gay.
