Compare the piece of the quote she used:

and note what she removed from the actual quote:
"which is nothing more than a theory, it can't be proved"

No wonder Joe wanted her to READ what she had! Dean carefully qualified the example he used to demonstrate what happens when the investigation is stonewalled by gee dub. But Dean? RECKLESS! And Trippi? CUT HIS MIKE!
