I am entrusting my relatively short future to Obama.

I'm older than many of you here. I maybe have 20 years left to my life, more if I was to be really careful (which is not in the cards!).Unlike many of you, there is not a whole lot of time left for mistakes for me. I feel as if I have to get it right. I worry that the money I've saved will be lost in this crazy economy. I'm worried that if I get sick I won't be able to get decent care. I'm worried that as I age and become more dependent on others there won't be anything that my government will be able to do to ease the burden of my care on my loved ones. Most of all, I'm worried that the world I leave will be much, much worse than the world the greeted me.

Whoever gains the White House has the future to face as well as the past to correct. It is a big order.

To me, Obama has the heart, the decency, the intelligence and the wisdom to set things right. For me, this is far from a "throw away" election.
