Heavy turnout in Wisconsin
Advertisements [?]
My brother who lives in Milwaukee just voted and reported a heavy turnout...many young people who are registering on the spot (and presumably voting for Barack Obama). Also many self-described Republicans that are crossing over to vote in the Democratic primary. Indeed a heavy turnout in spite of the cold weather. Outside the polling places he reports Hillary Clinton supporters screaming "Hillary" and shoving the Hillary signs into the voters' faces. Also a lot of Obama's "Yes, We Can" signs (Hillaryites trading barbs with the Obamaites...not a very good scene for the NY Senator's supporters). Also many union members voting, most with Obama buttons. So it will be a long night because several polls show a dead heat...but I think that Obama seems to have the edge with the new voters, the GOP cross-overs, young/college voters, and the union vote leaning to the Illinois Senator...
