Seriously. I'm sorry I'm generalizing, but that's the only explanation I can think of. A serious Democratic (hey, we're not talking Mitt Romney here) candidate for President of the United States is featuring a disgusting bigot who talking of homosexuality as a "curse" and is a proponent of the "ex-gay" movement, which I can guarantee you GLBT people see as loathsome, sickening, shameful bigotry. And we're supposed to just "get over this"? It's just "politics as usual"?
