Why such a post? Our nation is about to embark on a course of history that will change our nation and change the world for the worse. The President of the United States is about to unilaterally lead our nation into a much bigger war. It is not just a larger war in Iraq - it will lead to a larger war throughout the Middle East. Many, many people will die.

If there is a leader in this nation, I pray he will step forward at this time and challenge the authority of the man in the White House. He is not a king. He answers to the people. He does not have the unilateral authority to lead our nation into a larger war and to threaten the peace of the world.

No doubt Mr Bush "feels" he may be doing the right thing. These "terrorists" are a threat to our way of life. We must fight a prolonged war and be victorious, he says. Otherwise, the consequences would be awful.

However, his "feelings" should not determine the course that our nation takes at this time. We are indeed, at a crossroads. The "terrorists" will not circle the wagons and fight the Americans in Baghdad. They will move outside the Green Zone. They will move outside Baghdad. They will move outside Iraq. This is a very, very dangerous course.

Mr Bush is about to turn a fiasco into a catastrophe. If we follow him down his path, there will be no turning back. America, you have been warned.
