Randi Takes Cheap Shot at El Rusho [View All]

Randi Rhodes took a pretty cheap shot at Rush Limbaugh on today's program.

She replayed a 1993 tape where Rush stood in for Pat Sajack and hosted a live audience discussion show. The audience was not screened. Rush was not greeted in a friendly manner by the audience to say the least. In fact, he was shouted down every time he tried to say anything.

Randi played several minutes of this and then opined that Rush had demonstrated an inability to meet liberal arguments because the conservative position is inherently unable to argue against liberal positions.

The only problem with Randi's analysis was, that Rush never had a chance to argue against liberal thinking - he was merely shouted down.

I am not a Rush Limbaugh fan and I am a Randi Rhodes fan. But, in this instance, Randi most certainly did not play fair.
