4. Have you thought about using a website to collect and store information?
You can update it as new things comes to light and then just give people a link and suggest that they copy and paste it's contents into emails, message boards, etc.

If you're interested, there are many places to get free webspace. Yahoo has a section called GeoCities that makes it pretty easy to set up a site.

Just a thought.
