is anything but damage control. They will be trying real hard to push the
"incompetence" meme, and a few scapegoats will be found. If NORAD lied for
a week in its initial statements that no planes were launched, and then lied
for two years on its official timelines, why should we believe they didn't
fake a bunch of audio tapes?

I haven't read the VF article yet. Don't have time, and I shouldn't be
here now.
