Manhunt Underway for Terrorist Who Stabbed Jerusalem Teen

Israel Police and IDF soldiers have joined forces to hunt in the Arab village of Beit Iksa for the terrorist who stabbed 17-year-old Yehuda Ne'emad in Jerusalem's Ramot neighborhood Saturday afternoon. A house-by-house search for the suspect was underway in the village, which is located barely a half kilometer from the Ramot neighborhood. It is believed the attacker fled there after the attack.

Israel Police spokesman Mickey Rosenfeld told Arutz Sheva Saturday night that it is believed a lone suspect attacked Ne'emad, stabbing him in the abdomen and back. Reports of a vehicle in the area just before the attack are being investigated as well.

Ne'emad, who suffered serious wounds, was rushed to Hadassah Ein Kerem Medical Center after initial treatment at the scene from Magen David Adom emergency response medics. He was listed in fair condition following surgery, although he is sedated and is on a respirator.

"Investigators searched the nearby village, Beit Iksa, and around the area," Rosenfeld said, "and are continuing to search for the attacker."
