Texas homeowner shot by his own gun during an early morning burglary has gone from critical to serious.
The victim told police he found three unidentified males rooting around his home and confronted them with a handgun. The suspects began to struggle with the homeowner, and the gun either accidentally discharged or the suspects intentionally shot the homeowner with his own weapon, McKinney police Lt. Mark Moyle said.
