Yes I totally agree that we shouldn't completely disregard everything coming from people of other ideologies. I'm just saying this guy sounds like a right wing kook not an economist. I'd also avoid taking advice from someone trying to advance a certain type of investment market (gold).
This guys worries that international organizations (UN,trade groups) are going to somehow turn into a world government and that it'll be socialist. I'm more worried about corporations/big money taking over the world and it being fascist.
