No Democrat who has won both Iowa and NH has lost the nomination either.

Among the leading candidates, according to the Zogby poll, Dean has the largest percentage who are still unfamiliar with him - 19% Only 13% consider themselves unfamiliar with Kerry. I hope Kerry can get those who feel they know him but don't support him to listen to him again.

Right now, as the frontrunner, they are both Dean's to lose...we'll see what happens.

We've seen no political ads whatsoever for Dean here in Illinois...no press locally where I am...little out of Chicago on the Democratic candidates in general, and we had 3,500 in the middle of a workday, Tuesday this past week.

Those in the past who have surged in NH and Iowa have been lacking in organization, money, and national support...Dean has all 3, but again we'll wait and see.

I'm looking forward to seeing Kerry's campaign get off the ground, and will look forward to a surge by him in New Hampshire...more Democratic voices!
