diets and that's assuming normal activity. Working out heavily, running, etc, probably
wise to hydrate more.

Hubby and I have just started Nutrisystem--it will be a week tomorrow that we're on it--
and I've lost 4 lbs already. I walk the dog for 35-45 minutes every morning and again for
about 15 minutes at night.

We have not been hungry. Lots of chocolate--in either breakfast things, lunch bars, and desserts.
You supplement with salads, fruits, fresh veggies, yogurt, cottage cheese, etc.

I did Nutrisystem prior to my hip surgery three years ago and was very happy with results.
Then our house burned down and with all the stress, I paid no attention to eating or drinking (wine, cocktails) and regained the weight.

Now that we're rebuilding, I want to move (probably February)in at my goal--which is to lose 35 lbs--and I think that I can probably get there before Thanksgiving.

I've done South Beach--works but requires too much grocery shopping and cooking--and Atkins--which left
me hungry all the time--and even Scarsdale used to work for me when I was 30 years younger.

I think with more than 10 lbs to lose it's a good idea to find a diet that keeps you full and not feeling deprived. Nutrisystem does that for me. Once I get to my goal, I am not going back to cocktails/wine every night or so much meat/potatoes. It means eating better, really, which in the long run is good.

On edit: The silver Nutrisystem plan works out to about 1200-1300 calories a day for women--and again, I have not been hungry on it.
