5. I know how it feels
When my Kira was still a kitten, she used to climb up my leg--talk about scratches! I called her my little itty bitty thing! She had been the runt, but when her mom was killed a week and a day after her birth, we had to handraise her and her siblings. She and her brother Dax, survived, but the middle one didn't. The vet said that was a pretty good accomplishment, because normally orphaned kittens usually die.

I had found a greeting card that had the lower half of a woman wearing a skirt, and her nylons were shredded. The inside caption read: "Cat lovers are easy to spot" and I laughed because it was so true!
