you're an extraordinarily intelligent, literate and aware person. And sensitive; obviously sometimes too much so for your own good ( I can relate to that much more than I wish I could). The world would be a far better place if there were more people with just the few traits I know about you. Don't let your mind fuck with you this way. You're OK. You're way the hell BETTER than OK actually. Don't be embarrassed to get whatever kind of help you need either. I've seen counselors off and on over the years and I'm not the least bit ashamed of that. Lots of us here have I'm sure. Some have received more help from that process than others, but the point is, don't let your pride stop you from asking for help ( just like you're doing right now). My opinion, from my limited information , is that you are exactly the OPPOSITE of an unlovable person.
