I once lived in a neighborhood that went to hell because a few turned into complete turds. The turds run off the decent people and before you know it, you are surrounded by turds.
I don't compromise in the neighborhood I live in now. If someone is fucking up, I tell the HOA or the cops. I just don't give a fuck if someone thinks I'm a snitch or a crotchety old man. I'll bend over backwards for my neighbors, but not if they don't have the common decency to keep their own shit to themselves and their kids in check.
