102. I hate to gloat (of course!) but it really was an exceptional week.
Plus, we got in a couple of days at the beach!

CSN hasn't lost ANYTHING vocally over the years. The harmonies were still perfect, and the songs are still classics. The opening chords of "Southern Cross" literally made the hair on my neck stand up. Stills did "For What It's Worth" on his Strat, and the call-and-response between him and the crowd on the chorus ("I think it's time we STOP" and the crowd responds "HEY!") was electric.

I'm not a big Cheap Trick fan, but they were excellent.

Heart. Damn. Ann Wilson's voice is one of the most incredible instruments I've ever heard. Nancy is a surprisingly good guitarist, as she showed on the solo long acoustic intro to "Magic Man."

JOURNEY!!!!! Holy shit. The new guy, Arnel Pineda, was amazing. Steve Perry can stay home, Arnel's got it covered. This was the tightest, most professional rock show I've ever seen. Neil Schon ... the guy is a GOD on the guitar, and he made it look effortless. This show, by the way, was sold out.

I could tell you more, but you get the point.

:hi:
