:hi:

anyone wanting contemporary bluegrass players to listen to

Rhonda Vincent and the Rage
http://www.myspace.com/rhondavincent13
2007 has been a phenomenal year for Vincent and her band The Rage. Vincent received a double Grammy nomination in the bluegrass album category for "All American Bluegrass Girl" and Country Vocal Collaboration as a duet with Bobby Osborne for "Midnight Angel", from her "All American Bluegrass Girl" album

Rhonda Vincent & The Rage were collectively nominated for 12 International Bluegrass Music Awards. Nominations were announced on August 16, 2007 at the Ford Theatre in Nashville, TN, located in the Country Music Hall of Fame

two recent finds of mine
The Dixie BeeLiners
http://www.myspace.com/thedixiebeeliners
they have a great rustic sound, have a bit of a celtic sound

Hillbilly Gypsies
http://www.myspace.com/thehillbillygypsies
their sound is very 'old-timey', rather than polished and pop-country-fied, they have some great videos on youtube. They perform around one mike, the old-fashioned way, and their live performances look electric. Doing Muleskinner Blues
