20. A friend of mine just mentioned dreaming of her father to me yesterday...
It has been several months since he passed away; but she's been having a tough time with the dreams. It's depressing for her to awaken and remember that he has died.

When I was a young teenager, my dog was hit by a car, and I was devastated. For the next few years I'd have a recurring dream, where the dog came out of her grave, shook the dirt off, and was fine. And once, when I was lying awake, I could swear that I felt her jump up on my bed.

You are so good to help your daughter take comfort from her dreams, and not simply dismiss them as the brain's coping mechanism for this trauma. You're right...There IS so much mystery with regard to Life and Death. Who's to say that dear Spark isn't trying to communicate with you?

I'm so sorry for your family's loss...
