We indeed move on, especially given that we only see the words that another individual types. How can we know what a person truly intends without meeting them?

Let me add in a point from communication studies that I think applies here: apparently we misinterpret 80% of a person's intent when we view their words online. On the phone, we misinterpret 50% of that person's intentions because we cannot see their facial expressions when they are talking. Ultimately, face to face conversation is the best, where we correctly interpret 70-80% of what a person says because we can see and hear them at the same time.

So... although it seems I'm engaging in a friendly exchange with you now, I'm actually foaming at the mouth with hatred. :P ;)
