We turn our heads the other way when a celebrity does something wrong. Then it becomes easier to turn our heads when a doctor, a lawyer, the head of a corporation, a politician, or a president does something wrong. When did we start thinking so little of ourselves that we will support people who have such low ethical standards? If we ask very little of the people we support, we get just that---very little. We have to start thinking better of ourselves and demanding better of the people who influence our and our children's lives. And whether we want to admit it or not, celebrities influence our lives through the movies they make and the images and life styles our children try to copy.
