I never liked cats until I rescued my kitty Nikki about 10 years ago. I had to put her to sleep about a year and a half ago, and it broke my heart. I wasn't ready to adopt again yet, and then I found out about fostering from a gal at the Shape magazine message boards. I found a no-kill shelter here that needed fosters, and I have had about 20 kitties pass through my home since! I couldn't love every one of them more!!!

BTW, I thought the contest might end tomorrow since it is the end of the month, so I went ahead and posted it on the Shape boards in the Social Center (their version of the Lounge). The ladies there are cool... 90% liberals, and 90% cat lovers!
