pick up the phone and call 911. Press charges. I guarantee he won't do it again.

I live in Washington state, which has one of the most stringent set of landlord/tenant laws in the country. When I was still single and living in apartments, I could quote from it. We had the same problem, except it was the landlord's twentysomething son letting himself in and out of our apartment as he pleased and uninvited.

My roommate and I moved out less than a week after he was notified by letter; we recovered all deposits and were awarded treble damages as well.
