and his hands are so relaxed. A pleasure to watch. Also really nice bass drum work - shows that no one really needs the double bass pedal if they have the skill! I was afraid initially that it was going to be a picture of the guy from Dream Theater. ;)
But, why didn't they also show his accents WITH the band - my drum teacher says that that is the true mark of a really good jazz player. However, watch Ronald Shannon Jackson, and then we'll talk. Best drumming I ever saw. He is amazing. :)  |
