When it (and the model :) ) came down the runway it looked like the perfect, classic cocktail dress -- it was just so right it wasn't funny. I did love Michael's look, as well, though it didn't have the sophistication that Laura's did.

Angela and Vincent -- I knew someone who had been kicked off was going to show up again (that happens every season) but I didn't ever think it would be those two and in that way! I would have loved to see the little blond gal (whose name I always forget) to have been brought back. She had one bad outfit out of many good dones, and she clearly is a very talented and fresh designer. Angela and Vincent both had the chance to redeem themselves but neither of them had the raw talent to take advantage of the opportunity. It looked as if Angela saw Jeffey win the last two challenges and decided to emulate his design style a bit. Didn't work -- AT all.

Although I adored his couture dress, Jeffrey's cocktail party dress was seriously lacking in everthing that the name "cocktail party dress" evokes. Jay from the first season had that edgy, torn-up style, but he showed the judges he could do classic elegance as well (his pale blue formal number was a beauty). Jeffrey hasn't shown us he has that ability.

Unless someone fucks up hugely, I think they are going to cut Uli loose next. Michael and Laura have been consistantly good in their work. Jeffrey is the cutting edge designer the judges love to have in the fnal three. But the judges seem to be tired of Uli's work. Unless someone blows it and/or Uli steps it up, she's out.

And, oh yeah, I love this show. :loveya:
