My sister got laid off a few months ago and lives in an economically depressed area.

She has a career background as an administrative assistant,and is an extremely hard worker.

Local school needed a custodian, I told her to take it. She needed the income, hours were good, and it was close to home and most of all benefits.

She walks down the hall, hardly any of the faculty speak to her.

I am fucking appalled. I say "Good morning and good afternoon, and Thank you" to the bus driver that brings my son to and from school everyday.

I feel so sorry for her---I know she's embarrassed but I told her that she is the better person because she has always treated EVERYONE in any position with respect, as long as they deserved it.
