37. Revolver.....

It is simply the best pop rock album...

Hard driving in places, tender in others...

Combining all sorts of different styles to produce a masterpiece...

Many would say Sgt Peppers...

But Revolver was the lead into SP and was tempered by the brilliant George Martin...

SP, while stunning in and of itself, was left too much in the hands of the Beatles and so was not as disciplined...
