We went to a thanksgiving party at our friends house about three years ago in hawaii and met the neighbor, mark, across the alley. hung out in his pad a little that evening. We had a nice time. That was the only time I met him.

So three years later I said to my wife out of the blue, "I wonder how mark is doing"? Didn't know why the thought crossed my mind. Two weeks later she talks to her friend in Hawaii. She says "Remember when you asked me about Mark?" "Yeah" "Well he wrecked his motorcycle and died two weeks ago."

I think that he triggered my thought somehow when he left. I think we can feel when people have passed in a metaphysical way. I have a tough time thinking it was a coincidence.
