You both will have less stress, and a doting older lady can give him that attention he craves . Babies and children are "attention intensive", and pets usually end up getting the short end of the stick. Add cleaning up pee on the floor to lotsa diapers/toilet training and you have one recipe for a mom spending too much time on one subject! There will be plenty of time for great family dog(s) when the kids are old enough to appreciate a four-footed friend. :thumbsup: :hug:
