I used up most of my vacation taking last week off to work on renovating our ripped-apart house without MorningGlow Jr. underfoot (did his usual trip to grandma's each day) and MAN could I get into that! I really, REALLY liked not having to get up at the crack of dawn, hustle a toddler out the door, fling him at grandma, and plant my ass in an office for eight hours straight whether I liked it or not.

I do believe I am meant to be a woman of leisure! :rofl: However...I am only managing to go back tomorrow because truth is we're broke. In fact, the mortgage payment is staring at me right now, from the top of a fairly high stack of bills. :(

Oh--and I'm carrying the family's medical insurance. I'm astounded how in the most advanced country on earth (allegedly), so many of us are slaves to medical insurance.
