under a pile of clothing, or blankets
under the bed
in closet
on top of book shelf or curio
behind washing machine or dryer or TV


They are so good at hiding and I have often finally found them where I was already looking because they were sitting there very still and just staring at me as I called to them!

Any nook or cranny they can figure out to hide is a possibility. Good luck finding him and I hope he is better soon!
