I'm glad it's not us this time. We have had bad storms all week with hail and damaging wind warnings. I have spent much of this week cringing on the floor. A tree snapped less than 25 feet from my head as I lay cringing too.

I too live in a mobile home. I grew up in a brick house, so I had no idea how these things toss and turn and make noises in strong winds. It takes guts of steel to live in a mobile home with the weather the way it is nowadays. Number 1 on my list of things to do when I get a job; build a nice sturdy underground shelter to retreat to. The weather isn't letting up or getting any better. In fact, I think it's getting worse.

And the weatherliars call this a cold front. More like a pissed off mother nature front. I cringe every time I see a limb move on the trees outside. I still haven't adjusted to living in a mobile home and probably never will.

Stay safe, please. I know it is hard to leave your home, but hit the deck and keep safe if you need to.
