You know, I feel better when I ignore the news.

I'm glad I don't watch any news shows, and only quickly glance at the headlines of most of the articles in the local newspaper.

Sure does help to keep me sane.

Every time I watch the news (like I stupidly did this morning for a while), or read the shitty, ignorant little articles my little local newspaper prints, I just get too irate and depressed and sad with all the obvious lies, obfuscations, and generally piss-poor "journalism". Plus, in the stupid little paper here, reading the headline generally gives all the content that one is gonna find in the article, anyway.
