We were browsing through tattoo magazines at Borders last night when he reacted to something I said with: "Are you getting possessive?" After I explained my statement I added that being possessive is a waste of time. :shrug: But ... He is the one who wants my full attention and is jealous of my time spent on DU. It's a good thing that we are spending most of our nights alone. We have many months ahead of us to learn to understand each other's thoughts. We both have mild little issues regarding our reasons for breaking up. Until last night he had no idea that he wasn't the only one who is still slightly troubled by mistakes we both made when we were together. That was then. This is now. It's time to let those feelings go or put them on the table and talk it out. We should both get over it and go on with today before we needlessly screw up our tomorrows.
Darn! The male ego is a fragile thing.
