so we do keep the Central Air on all the time. It never cools off that much at night anyway. I don't cook anything that has to be baked in the oven because it heats up the house too much. I keep the blinds closed all the time to keep the heat out. And it will be hot here in Dallas until well into November. The humidity is so bad I can't even breathe when I go outside. But the worst part is, some days even with the AC going all day long, it gets up to 78 in the house during the hottests part of the day no matter what the thermostat is set on.
