Have you heard any rumblings about it not returning? At the start of the 8th season, Brad Garrett and Doris Roberts had a contractual dispute. Garrett actually missed the season premeire. Romano deserves the money he gets, but I don't think he's the best part of the show. If any of the parts were to leave, the show would suffer.

I read somewhere that Patricia Heaton would be involved in some sort of spinoff. It's totally unconfirmed, but it was interesting to say the least. I wouldn't watch her as a star of her own show. I hate her character. It's sad when I side with Marie in their disputes.

It just seems a bit late for a series finale to take place. I know Friends has already shot there's. Surely Frasier's will be coming soon. I'd hate to see the show go without a series finale, like "Married With Children" and "Boston Public".
