Jolie Holland - new song "Palmyra" (liked it - and recently saw interviews of her for the first time. From those, my crush on her has definitely gotten bigger!)

TV On The Radio - Dear Science (another very good album; liked it a little more than Return to Cookie Mountain because Dear Science has more fully formed songs. Especially liked "Halfway Home," "Dancing Choose," "Golden Age," "Family Tree," and "Shout Me Out.")

Kellie Pickler - some songs and some samples from Kellie Pickler's self-titled CD (not a total disaster, but a step down from Small Town Girl. It's overproduced, and her vocals are more forced and strained. Songs are less charming. I recommend Carrie Underwood and Taylor Swift over this.)

samples from Kristy Lee Cook - Why Wait (I would have to hear more to get a firm opinion, but it sounded average, and my impressions of her from AI don't make me think I'd like the full songs.)

some songs and samples from Lesley Roy - Unbeautiful (good voice but less interesting songs)

Jenny Lewis - Acid Tongue (highly recommended; influenced a lot by 70s bands like The Eagles)
