Asking for help from DU musicologists [View All]

I have my big, annual FUNDAY party scheduled here in Saginaw, Michigan on June 21. Our current project to put twelve hours of music together for the party is underway and here's my problem:
I have 4200 MP3s socked away on my computer. I only need about 120 for the music list, but I'm sure that there is great party music I've never heard before (Christ, I'm 51 and still think ELO is cool). I would appreciate the hell out of it if DUers could recommend one or two great tunes for a party songlist. I may very well have the song(s) you mention on file (especially if it's/they're from before 1990 or so) -- but I'd bet a few worthwhile nominations I've never heard of before will come up.
What do you listen to? What would you like to hear at a party? Give me a couple brilliant suggestions.
